September has fresh notebook energy. After August’s eclipses shook loose what wasn’t working, this month is much more interested in what you’re going to do about it.
The Virgo new moon is perfect timing. Look around at the ordinary bits of your life and ask what could work better. Your mornings, money, workload, health, home, diary, habits, nothing particularly glamorous, but these are the things you actually live with every day. Make September the month you fix three things that have been annoying you since approximately 2024.
And then things get interesting. Mercury moves into Libra and starts making connections with Pluto, Neptune and Uranus, creating brilliant conditions for new ideas, useful conversations and finding another way in. If you’ve been stuck on a problem, widen the search. Ask someone new. Try the technology. Revisit the abandoned idea. The solution may come from somewhere you weren’t looking.
Meanwhile, Venus enters Scorpio and immediately starts stirring the pot around love, money and desire. With her retrograde approaching, September could introduce people, wants and questions that aren't going anywhere quickly. Notice what suddenly becomes extremely interesting to you. You don't have to decide what it means before October has even arrived.
Then the Aries full moon brings the fire. By the end of the month, the question becomes less how can I improve my life? and more what do I actually want to do with it? With Neptune, Uranus and Pluto creating that extraordinary kite around the full moon, an ambitious idea or different direction could start looking far more possible than it did a few weeks earlier.
And just when you thought September had made its point, Mars marches into Leo.
Start the month making your life work better. End it giving all that reclaimed time, energy and confidence somewhere exciting to go.

September is a good month to stop waiting for a dramatic reinvention and improve the life you already have. Fix what wastes your time. Make the annoying thing easier. Put the useful habit on autopilot. A few clever changes to your ordinary week could free up far more time and energy than you expect.
Keep your eyes open for shortcuts. Mercury’s connections with Uranus and Pluto favour clever solutions, new technology and people who know things you don’t. Before deciding something is too difficult, expensive or unrealistic, check whether you’re trying to solve it using an old set of options.
And watch where your attention goes. Venus in Scorpio can make certain people, purchases and possibilities suddenly feel extremely important. Rather than immediately talking yourself in or out of them, get curious. What you suddenly want more of could tell you quite a lot about where your life wants an upgrade.
By the end of the month, Mars entering Leo gives us plenty of momentum to work with. Pick something that excites you and give it a proper go. There are much better uses for your fire than fighting the same old battles.
