How to Manifest fast

Written on 07/10/2025

Let's get one thing out of the way before somebody on TikTok promises you £10,000 by Tuesday. If manifesting really worked by repeating one affirmation 777 times or sleeping with a bay leaf under your pillow, we'd all have beachfront villas and suspiciously perfect skin by now.

Here's something that's slightly unfair.

The people whose manifestations look the fastest often started long before anyone realised.

By the time they get the job, meet the partner or launch the business, they've usually already made a hundred tiny decisions that nobody else saw. From the outside it looks like everything changed overnight. From the inside, they'd quietly stopped arguing with themselves weeks ago.

That doesn't mean there's nothing you can do to speed things up, though.

Far from it.

There are certain habits, rituals and even astrological timings that genuinely make it easier to move towards what you want. Not because the universe suddenly starts playing favourites, but because you're making clearer decisions, noticing more opportunities and taking action at the right moments instead of waiting until you feel 100% ready.

Think of it less as trying to rush the universe and more as removing the things that have been quietly applying the brakes.

Here's how to manifest fast...

Start with one intention, not a shopping list

One of the easiest ways to slow your manifestations down is to ask for absolutely everything all at once.

A soulmate.

A promotion.

£20,000.

A cottage in the Cotswolds.

A six-pack.

A puppy.

Ideally by next Thursday.

There's nothing wrong with wanting all of those things eventually, but your attention is a finite resource. When every goal feels equally urgent, it's surprisingly difficult to move any of them forward.

Instead, choose one intention for the next lunar cycle and get specific.

Not, "I'd like more money."

More like, "I'd like to increase my monthly income by £500 before October."

Not, "I want love."

More like, "I'm ready for a healthy relationship with somebody who's emotionally available."

Clarity has a funny way of speeding things up because your brain suddenly knows what it's actually looking for.

Stop waiting until you feel ready

This catches far more people out than negative thinking ever does.

Manifesting a new career while putting off the application.

Manifesting love while politely declining every invitation because you're "too busy".

Manifesting more clients while your website still says "coming soon."

It's a little like sitting in a parked car complaining that the sat nav hasn't started moving.

Every intention deserves one matching action.

Not tomorrow.

Not after another tarot reading.

Today.

That action doesn't have to be enormous. Sending one email, booking one viewing or updating one page on your website is often enough to shift your brain out of wishing mode and into doing mode.

Borrow a little fire

If there was ever an astrological element associated with speed, it's fire.

Aries doesn't spend three weeks making a colour-coded spreadsheet before getting started.

Leo isn't waiting for unanimous approval.

Sagittarius has already booked the flight while everyone else is still discussing destinations.

Every fire sign has its flaws, but hesitation usually isn't one of them.

Whenever you're trying to manifest something quickly, borrow a little of that energy.

Ask yourself, "What would the bold version of me do this week?"

Then go and do something that version of you would recognise.

Use the waxing moon properly

The new moon gets all the attention, but the fortnight afterwards is where a lot of the real work happens.

Think of the new moon as making the decision.

The waxing moon is proving you meant it.

It's the perfect time to keep building momentum by following up, practising, applying, asking, creating and showing up consistently instead of checking every five minutes to see whether your manifestation has arrived yet.

Seeds don't grow because you keep digging them up to see how they're getting on.

Let Mars do the heavy lifting

Mars is the planet of courage, action and momentum, which makes its transits brilliant for starting things you've been putting off.

Launching the business.

Having the awkward conversation.

Applying for the promotion.

Sending the message.

You don't need to know every detail of your birth chart to benefit from this either. Simply paying attention to the lunar cycle and major Mars transits can help you choose moments when taking action feels that little bit more natural.

Sometimes timing really does matter.

Calm your nervous system before asking for a bigger life

This isn't nearly as glamorous as buying another crystal, but it's probably more useful.

If success feels stressful, your nervous system will often try to protect you by keeping everything exactly the same.

That's when procrastination suddenly masquerades as "doing more research."

Or perfectionism convinces you another week of tweaking your vision board is somehow essential.

Before trying another manifestation technique, spend ten minutes regulating your nervous system instead.

Go for a walk.

Meditate.

Breathe.

Listen to a guided visualisation.

Then tackle the thing you've been avoiding.

It's amazing how much easier action feels when your body no longer thinks change equals danger.

Turn rituals into turning points

Rituals work best when they change your behaviour rather than replacing it.

One of the simplest ways to do that is with a fire ritual.

Light a candle.

Write one clear intention.

Before the candle burns out, complete one action that supports it.

Manifesting a new job?

Send the application.

Manifesting love?

Say yes to the date.

Manifesting more money?

Finally send the invoice that's been sat in your drafts since last Tuesday.

The candle isn't doing the manifesting.

It's reminding you that intention and action belong together.

Try cinnamon when things feel stuck

Cinnamon has been associated with abundance and prosperity for centuries, which is one reason it keeps popping up in manifestation rituals.

At the beginning of the month, blow a pinch of cinnamon through your front door while setting a clear intention for the weeks ahead.

Then—and this is the important bit—follow it with one meaningful action.

Otherwise you've simply made your hallway smell lovely.

Burn the version of you that's keeping you stuck

Bay leaf rituals are everywhere, but here's a slightly different way to use them.

Instead of writing what you want...

Write what's slowing you down.

"I'm waiting for permission."

"I'm terrified of getting it wrong."

"I keep convincing myself next week will be easier."

Burn the bay leaf safely, then immediately do one thing your old self would have talked themselves out of.

That's where the real shift begins.

Carry a reminder of the person you're becoming

Carnelian, Sunstone and Red Jasper have all been linked with confidence, courage and motivation for generations.

Whether you believe crystals carry energy or simply enjoy the symbolism, they make brilliant physical reminders.

Every time you pick one up, let it become a cue to ask yourself one question.

"What's one thing I can do today that Future Me will thank me for?"

Small actions have a habit of becoming very big results.

The biggest mistake that slows manifestations down

The biggest mistake isn't having the wrong crystal.

Or missing the perfect moon phase.

Or forgetting an affirmation.

It's waiting for certainty before taking action.

Certainty rarely arrives first.

Action does.

That's true whether you're manifesting a relationship, a business, more money or simply a life that feels more like your own.

Fast manifestations aren't usually about making the universe move faster.

They're about making it easier for opportunities to catch up with the version of you that's already moving.

And that's considerably more reliable than hoping £10,000 turns up by Tuesday.
