LoA visualisation for the Taurus full moon, 26th October, 2026

Written on 10/20/2026

We humans have some wonderfully peculiar ideas about what will make us happy. We'll spend a fortune trying to look successful, lose sleep over someone who takes three days to reply to a text, and feel guilty about spending an entire afternoon doing absolutely nothing. Meanwhile, a really good sandwich can improve our mood considerably.

This Taurus full moon is asking a rather cheeky question: have we been making happiness unnecessarily difficult?

Venus has just brought a 100-year chapter of Venus star points in Scorpio to a close, and she's certainly not leaving quietly. With Venus retrograde, Chiron involved and Pluto squaring the Taurus full moon, some fascinating questions about love, desire, power and self-worth are coming to the surface.

Scorpio is the sign of passion, obsession, intimacy and all those deliciously complicated things we do in the name of love and money. As the Venus star point shifts into Libra, the focus moves from emotional intensity and power struggles towards mutual affection, fairness and finding a rather more enjoyable balance between our own desires and everyone else's.

And Pluto would like to know why you're still hanging on to that thing you haven't enjoyed since 2019. The relationship, the ambition, the grudge. Apparently, having invested an enormous amount of time in something is a perfectly good reason to invest another decade.

Finally, beneath all this, Venus and Chiron are revisiting some of our oldest ideas about what makes us lovable, desirable and deserving. Who taught us these rules? Are they doing us any favours? And why are we still following them?

You might find yourself developing rather different tastes in love, money and the life you want to create.

Which raises a delicious possibility: what if the things that would make you happiest are considerably easier to come by than the things you've been chasing?

Ivory Gloss crystal - Rose quartz orgone pyramid

Love, luxury and a little shameless self-indulgence? Rose quartz is very much in favour.

Traditionally associated with love, self-worth and opening ourselves up to receive, this beautiful pink crystal is a perfect match for a Taurus full moon that's encouraging us to get considerably more comfortable with having nice things.

Rose quartz is especially lovely if you're brilliant at spoiling everyone else but suddenly become terribly sensible when it comes to your own desires. Its gentle, nurturing energy encourages a little more generosity towards yourself.

Orgone pyramids are traditionally believed to transform stagnant energy, restore balance and amplify positive intentions. Paired with rose quartz, it's a lovely little powerhouse for your Pleasure Menu ritual, helping you focus on everything wonderful you'd like to welcome into your life. And frankly, why dream small?
